Politics is a team sport. As an aspiring or current leader you’ve got to have the skills to motivate and influence your team and others to perform and win.
This two day course minimises formal lecture time, to focus on developing your skills by ‘doing’, getting coaching and feedback to improve, and then allowing you to apply those skills back in the office.
During the day you will develop skills helping you to:
Lead effective small teams
Communicate better within your team
Improve your inter-personal skills including setting expectations, giving feedback and coaching
Managing difficult conversations and resolving conflict
Take advantage of feedback to get ahead
Enhance your own performance through proven attitude and mind-set frameworks
Getting other people to say ‘yes’
The course has been designed by MBA graduates and is led by senior leaders in politics who have had extensive experience leading political teams, including governing Departments as a Chief of Staff to a Secretary of State.
